Your user name is not in the authorization-server’s database. If you are a paid-up customer, please send email to matt@trivisonno.com.
Widespread software piracy has made this system necessary.
When you first click the “Update” button, Rank-O-Matic will verify your username with the authorization server at trivisonno.com. This usually takes less than a second.
If you are using a firewall, such as the one built into Windows, you may need to configure it to allow access to trivisonno.com.
If you still have problems, email me the contents of the “auth-debug.txt” file. To find this file, go onto Rank-O-Matic’s “Help” menu and then to “Open App Data Folder”. On the Mac, you can just go into your Rank-O-Matic folder.
